Clinicians at Tidal Counseling are credentialed with the following insurance panels: Aetna, Aetna BetterHealth, Anthem (commercial and medicaid), Carelon, Cardinal Care, Humana Healthcare, Medicaid, Medicare, Molina, Optum, Sentara (commercial and medicaid) and United HealthCare.
Sliding Scale
Sliding scale payment is available for the uninsured at the discretion of each individual therapist.
Good Faith Estimate
Tidal Counseling, PLC accepts all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover). Payment (co-pay or self-pay) is due at time of service through utilization of our bank encrypted, secure EHR system (Therapy Appointment) which stores card to be used on file.
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, health care providers are obligated to provide an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
